Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was selected to represent Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013, but the knee injury that followed kept her on the sidelines. It took a few years to Allana to return back into rugby league. Allana participated in her first female match in the 2015 season of rugby league and starred in the game for New South Wales against Queensland. Allana can also be found on radio on her resume, making regular appearances on the 2GB's top-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare distinction to have represented Australia at three different sports events: Rugby Sevens as well as Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos footballer as well as a rugby league player for Australia's Jillaroos team, has had to put a premature end to her professional career as a player after she tore her ACL in a fourth occasion. She had torn the ligament on the same knee between was 15 17 and 20-years-old and following a 4th tear, the time for Ferguson to retire was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth-year ACL injured, had to quit early. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in November.
